This marsillpost thingie very much looks like a spambot…
Hey peeps !
Add a sticker where it may be needed on your screen and remove it if it’s not ? ^_^
Lo-tek but well, it works 😛
Oh, sorry, I’ve been out of that particular loop for so long it can be misleading 🙂
Odd thing that “random” you mention. Feels glitchy.
Unless this is some new stuff I’m not aware of…
From Setting, you can either “Save” the character in lbd format which is epic’s own format and allow you work from it later on or, alternatively, you can use the “Export” button and export it in png and/or psd format depending on your addons.
Anyway, as long as you haven’t quit the character you’re working on, he/she/it isn’t lost. But you can’t work on another character since you’ll lose that one as soon as you’ll switch to another ePic category…
That’s why the “Save” option is somewhat useful ^_^
Hello,
What you’re looking for is in Setting, Hit that Button
then instead of Tips, Random, Setings and Back, the buttons will be Save, Load, Export and Back.
Those are what you want. 🙂
Hey !
It works just fine.
Like the gauzy effect ^_^
Hello,
Yes, It is instant.
Maybe try login out and then back in (of the software, not the website), in order to activate your new stuff ?
Otherwise, I’m afraid this is a question for lbandy.
Right, I’ve done better but it should fit the bill.
There are plenty of skeleton (or orks or dragon or whatever) pics like this one that you can add in postwork. For private use you can do whatever you want anyway. 🙂
If that skeleton you’re mentioning is actually able to use the same items as the basic characters, it’s a new character, therefore it’s most probably a lot of work.
You can download the Developer Pack from over there ^
A skeleton character would need to fit all the categories from the pack. That’s easier said than done. 🙂
Unless you find an artist interested in creating that whole new set for ePic, inserting the skeleton in postwork is way easier on a case by case basis.
Lemme see what I can do… ^_^
Hey !
Been a while indeed.
I’m all right, how about you ? 🙂
There, for the sake of demonstration. 🙂
This is a random who’s just been resized and cleaned up of “mature” stuff to look more like a youth.
This is no work of art but you should get the idea 😉
Well, the quick and dirty way to design younger characters (or halflings or whatever) would be simply to export the final character as PNG on a transparent background, then change proportions in any image editing software of your choice, add a background if you need one, and voilà !
For that, you don’t even need the Pro pack. 🙂
Hi and welcome aboard ! 🙂
Designing children is very easy, just use the pro version, export whatever you need and change the proportions of the adult figure to make him/her more childlike.
You can add as second hair color the same way. Once again, use the pro version and manually recolor a second copied hair layer. That’s very easy to do actually.
Besides these options, I’m pretty sure LBandy will tell you you’re dependent on the artists’ good will but that would be for him to answer 😉
My guess regarding the arms you’re referring to is that some layers are mutually exclusive, so, my answer would be “yes prolly”. But let’s wait for a more educated perspective… ^_^
Hey welcome aboard 🙂
You can port stuff from one pack to another with minimal postwork if you own the pro version, psd exporter and so on. This is especially convenient if you want to use female material with male bases or the other way round.
I gave it a try a while ago. It should be somewhere on the forum. 🙂
