The new ePic for tablet feature looks really nice but side effect is the 3 devices maximum limit becomes an issue. :
Would there be a way to earn or buy new devices in order to get past that one ?
That would be a nice touch 😛
October 30, 2018 at 6:04 am #24778Side note: char_conma_we appears to be bugged in the tablet version.
Damn error msg thing wouldn’t close and I had to Switch off my internet to go forward.
October 30, 2018 at 7:57 am #24779I just got the rest of season 1 (5 packs) and 2 from season 2, but I am having trouble getting everything to load.
When I first installed the new items several hours ago, it kept giving an error, or saying something about not having auth, and my firewall saying it was malicious…
Then after everything finally loaded, I went thru each new set, and everything i owned was there. Now I just logged in and it won’t load, or let me get to several sets I already own. Tried to reload several times, and about to try reloading again, but this kinda sucks lol.
October 30, 2018 at 8:06 am #24782October 30, 2018 at 12:50 pm #24788That’s a good idea Kelemelan actually. I figured one device per platform (PC, Steam, Android) should be enough, but I can imagine scenarios where it becomes a bottleneck. I’ll give it some thinking and come up with a solution soon.
October 30, 2018 at 3:37 pm #24793I made a quick change to allow Pro users to have up to 10 devices instead of the default 3. I hopes that’d be enough. 🙂
October 30, 2018 at 3:49 pm #2479410 sounds definitely amazing ! 🙂
However, ePic is still telling me that “too many devices are registered for me”, any hint ?
October 30, 2018 at 3:54 pm #24795Maybe I should reinstall the fourth machine from scratch even though ePic is already there ?
October 30, 2018 at 4:22 pm #24796There shouldn’t be any issues, it’s just a server side thing. Could you double check it’s still happening? Is that version of ePic up to date?
October 30, 2018 at 4:26 pm #24797Nope, it’s not up to date since It won’t let me log in (too many devices)
October 30, 2018 at 4:29 pm #24798Checking if it’s updating
October 30, 2018 at 4:32 pm #24799That’s strange, as patch download is happening before log in, and device count check is happening entirely on the server side at login. I also updated the previous client socket on our server to allow more devices for Pro users, so not sure why it’s happening on your end. I’ll do some more testing and might find something, but it seemed to be working so far.
October 30, 2018 at 4:38 pm #24800mmmh… well it may be an OS issue on that one. Comp appears to be fubar.
I’ll try my luck with a different computer.
sorry, my time is running short. I’ll get back to you asap.
Later.
October 30, 2018 at 6:50 pm #24801And that’s four. ePic works okay here. 🙂
Okay, that one is a different computer/OS altogether but since the original PC which got me alarmed seems to require a complete reinstall, I’ll assume ePic isn’t involved.
I’ll keep you in the loop if I have additional info. on the subject.
October 30, 2018 at 6:52 pm #24802Thanks! Glad to hear it seems to be working over there too. Let me know if something comes up.
