      We are adding some new galleries to the gallery list, and I will comb the forums for the pictures.

      That means:
      – Please use the User Upload to upload the challenge pictures in transparent png,
      – You can use the User Upload to also post compositions, complete pictures
      – And you can keep on posting to the forum under Share Your Character 🙂, where you can add your description and story to the picture
      (because we love your characters, a lot of interesting ones)

      I will sort out the pictures, the challenge ones go into Current Challenge, and we will collect a copy of the forum posted ones in the User Made gallery. From which Sade will choose some for our Staff Pick gallery.

        Oh, cool a new challenge! Although I don’t know how to do a separate transparent PNG of just the sidekick? Got an idea in mind although I may do more than one. :cheer:

          Afaik, you can’t save just the sidekick (at least, not an ePic sidekick.), on a transparent png, but use different transparent layers and the end result will be very similar.

          You can use a completely separate picture on a transparent background, of course. 🙂

            I don’t have Photoshop, but I do have GIMP. What’s the best way to use that for this challenge?

              I also posted some new character pics in my character thread. I am wondering if two of those could be used for the challenge? Namely the blood mage and her baby dragon ‘sidekick’, and my Northern Lights Mage with her spirit bird of light familiar. I also have a street urchin with an alley cat pet if that would qualify too. The other picture I posted won’t do as that one doesn’t have any companion whatsoever.

                Ouch, scope of your question is way too broad 😛 :cheer:

                But I’m using gimp too and basically if it can be done with photoshop, you can bet it can be done with gimp. 😉

                Maybe you want to check the tutorials that Sade already posted in the Tip & Tricks section of the forum. They work just fine for gimp. Been there. 🙂

                    My answer was about the use of Gimp, ofc.

                    About the characters, well, “companion” means just that. I used a human companion and Greg used a human(ish) one so, my guess is that answers your question. 🙂

                    Now I’m just guessing, I have no authority in the matter. 🙂

                                For the challenge, don’t forget you need to upload the sidekick on a transparent png background. 🙂

                                I know, it’s kinda confusing at first, I was soft of confused too 😉
