The login screen shows different messages wether the inserted User Name is not existant (in this case a dialog box appears asking to register) or the user exists and the password is wrong.

Usually this is not done because it agevolates brute force attackers by hinting which field is to keep on changing instead of cycling both.

That was intentional, but your point is right. I’ll take a look at unfiroming the messaging to prevent such attacks, although we didn’t have any in the past fortunately.
