I can’t export my character

Hello everyone, I really like this software when I started using it. I am going to use it as a way of  Gamification for my lessons with my students. However , it does not let me to export my character once I’ve personalised it. I am using the program for windows and reinstalled several times. Of course I am personalising a package that I already bought . However, the button of exporting or even saving is not there.

The only buttons I can see are: Tips, random , settings and back. So the personalised character can’t be saved.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello,

What you’re looking for is in Setting, Hit that Button

then instead of Tips, Random, Setings and Back, the buttons will be Save, Load, Export and Back.

Those are what you want. 🙂

Thank you Kelemelan for the answer but how can I save the current personalized character Because when I press settings after personalised it , it all disappeared

Hi there,

When you enter the Settings screen your character is not lost. It just displays the preview image of the selected pack on the right side, since you can toggle multiple packs to be used on the same character – as explained in the Tutorial. So when you press Save (data file that can be loaded back later) or Export (PNG or PSD), your personalized character will be used.

UPDATE:

Okay , now if I export it , I can see my personalised character although on the left side it appears a random one. Sorry I did not know how to make it work. Now I am able to. Many thanks guys! Awesome software

From  Setting, you can either “Save” the character in lbd format which is epic’s own format and allow you work from it later on or, alternatively, you can use the “Export” button and export it in png and/or psd format depending on your addons.

Anyway, as long as you haven’t quit the character you’re working on, he/she/it isn’t lost. But you can’t work on another character since you’ll lose that one as soon as you’ll switch to another ePic category…

That’s why the “Save” option is somewhat useful ^_^

In the Settings screen, your character is not displayed. Try pressing Export and see that the image created as PNG is the same one you had in the Editor. 🙂

Odd thing that “random” you mention. Feels glitchy.

He’s just referring to the pack preview images as random.
