Application can’t download files – SOLVED

I just installed the update and I am very disappointed with the update. I have tried to start the program several times and each time it will download several files. Once that is over, i try to open one of the character portions and the program begins to download more file. It will get to a file called “char_elfe’. It will download this file to 65% and then lock up. Is there anyway to have the program download everything once?
As a side note, the old update gave me a false message when I started it. A message came up saying that there was an update available. If I wanted to go to the website and download the update push ESC or press ENTER to use the old program. Nothing happens when you press ENTER forcing you to get the update. I just wanted to look at one picture in the Donation part to see if it would work for a character I had in mind for RIFTS. Please help.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues. It seems like you’ve installed the program over a previous installation. This way it will just patch himself back to a previous version and won’t open any older files, which makes it unable to run. You will need to make a clean install, and uninstall the program first. If you would like to downlad and install every package manually, here are the download links for your installation:

As for your second note, it seems the program didn’t recognize you pressing ENTER, as it was implemented and tested to do so. We didn’t want to force anyone to install the update, and I’m really sorry to hear that didn’t work for you. Hopefully a clean reinstall will fix your problems.
